Product revew of: Canon PG240XL Ink Cartridge. [ PROS ] - Best Buy has the best price on this particular cartridge. Ousts Walmart usually by $1 in-store in Rockford IL, Sears by $2 or more in-store in Rockford IL, Office Max by $2 or more in-store in Rockford IL and even the Canon.com website itself by $1.5 or more as of 03/28/2015. - Product is 100% recyclable from the packaging to the product itself. - Easy to unbox. - Easy to install. - I have used Canon PG241CL Color Ink for over 2 yrs without any issue. - Produces excellent color infused text docs from the first print upon reinstall. - Ink dries in <5 seconds after being spooled from the printer. - Long lasting cartridge. The Canon color XL cartridge lasts a lot longer than the standard Canon color ink cartridge. Definately worth the few extra dollars to buy a XL cartridge. - Empty/Used ink cartridges can be recycled for product discounts at Office Max, or you can request a recycling paclet from Canon.com. [ CONS ] - As of 03/28/2015 10:45PM CST online price at Best Buy.com is $29.99 w/out tax versus a February 2015 in-store price of $25.49 w/out tax. Summary:- So, this color cartridge cost me more than the cost of the printer - And the printer came with a color and black cartridge (not XL though). Pros: These "official" cartridges work fine. I've never had any issue with them. Cons: You pay very less for the printer, but end up paying more over time because the cartridges are expensive. Suggestion: > If you just print once in a while, you are fine with the printer and this cartridge > Else, get a better printer that might cost more initially, but save on the ink cost and hence help you save money in the long run (Check for the cost / printed page before you buy) > Refill the cartridges manually. I've tried this for printers and cartridges, not this I have a monochrome (ie black ink only) laser printer that I use for most of my printing. I rarely take color print and use this only for color prints which I take very rarely - once in a few months.

i have literally 20 different printers that all have scammed me on ink, ive been searching and searching for a decent one that can hold ink and i usually get the printers free or on sale etc. anyways my last printer was a epson that guzzled ink in less then a month and half the time the new inks wouldnt work. well i decided to buy this printer pixma something something that uses this ink, the sample inks it came with lasted a long time i was suprised because sample inks are only half filled. when they finally did run out i bought these inks. so far they have lasted alot of regular prints. i havent printed many photo pictures, just mapquests mainly and its doing decent.

I have tried refilling different places: Office Max and Costco. While it is cheaper than the factory ink, I don't think it lasts as long and when I need to print; it needs to happen without a glitch. The computer most of the time doesn't recognize that the refill has been done and you get constant low ink notifications. For a little extra the factory ink is worth it.

Great quality ink but I purchased this before seeing that it came in XXL size which is perfect for me as I tend to go thru black cartrudge far more faster than color cartridge. Didn't receive 15% members discount or $10 off. Make sure you take in old cartridges for $2 off trade in credit. (And make sure you're receiving all discounts you're supposed to receive)

After 4+ years my old android tablet died. :-( So, after research, I replaced it with a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. What a beautiful tablet! The resolution is excellent and the speed is FAST. The most surprising part was that I could download my old tablet's configuration and apps directly onto the new one just by logging into my Google account. It was seamless and quick! I love my new Samsung Galaxy Tab 4!

There definitely is a difference in purchasing ink from the manufacturer verse buying it re furbished. Because I'm printing photos, I will only purchase quality ink. The differences that I've found- Brand ink is never dried up or clogged. Black ink is black ink and colors are more vivid. I can't tell you how many times I've had problems with refurbished ink cartridges.

The CL-241XL ink cartridge for the Canon printers definitely means XL especially when printing documents. It comes in handy when you have lots of paperwork to print out at home when you do not have a choice. I definitely would recommend getting the XL instead of the regular size in any case. There is a noticeable difference between the regular size and the XL size.
