Q: QuestionWould like to use this lens to photograph the Grand Canyon. I am an amateur photographer with an EOS Rebel SL1. Would I be able to use this lens with this camera & have it on auto focus? Thank you for your time.
Asked by Liz.
- A:Answer if your question is real ,, my personal = no ,, for many reasons ...you would not understand based on your experience level .. if you can spend $2k lens with $400 camera ,, i would recommend getting a bridge camera like a nikon p1000 or p500 series .. and have way more of a camera setup for your experience level to use and save you at least $1000 ... if you just a lens recommendation , i see bestbuy has the Sigma 8-16mm as a better match for you level and camera ,, to just answer your question which is for the wide angle view and auto ..and save you about $1300 .. .

Q: QuestionMy wife and I have a rebel t7i. My wife is getting more serious about photography and has been taking classes. I am looking for a nice lens to upgrade and this one has excellent reviews. Will it work well with the rebel t7i?
Asked by George.
- A:Answer T7i is a crop sensor camera. Is she into portraits or landscapes? If the lens is for landscapes(crop sensor) Then I would recommend 10-22mm f3.5-4.5.If the lens is for portraits, then I would recommend you 2 replace T7i for 6d mark 2 camera and purchase an 85mm f1.8 or 1.4 lens. Your cellphone takes better PORTRAITS than t7i. Be aware of that. Hope that helps.

Q: QuestionI would like to use this lens with my Canon 80d. I understand the crop factor of 1.6. Other than that, are there any problems with such a combo for video and stills?
Asked by Roger.
- A:Answer I use this lens with my Canon EOS MarkIV 5D and it is a perfect combination an ideal solution for my wide angle shoots. I don't have any experience with the 80D but I did own a 70 D and the best wide angle I found useful for that camera was an canon 10-22mm f/3.5- 4.5, that would be my suggestion for your 80D. The aforementioned len's had excellent optical quality and Superior AF performance and speed. It took very sharp wide angle photos. As a final suggestion check the manufacture's suggestions for the best lens suited for your camera and ride with that. Good Luck! I hope I helped.

Q: QuestionIs this lens good for my canon 6d?
Asked by Alex.
- A:Answer This is a bit expensive overall but if you plan on upgrading to a full frame and like wides this is great. The 17-40mm Canon might be what you are looking for anyway its a great wide and comes in at a lower price point. Look into it and decide which is better for you.
