Canon - EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM Zoom Lens for EF-mount cameras

I bought this just before it sold out online. This Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM Zoom Lens is one great lens. The picture quality is sharp and has a beautiful soft background once auto focus locks in on its subject. Speaking of auto focus it's fast and accurate. This lens is fantastic in low light situations. This was definitely a great buy. If you are thinking of purchasing this Canon lens, trust me you won't regret it. You'll get a bang for your buck !

I've been using this lens for class photography, which has been a mixture of outdoor and indoor settings. Even though the f/4 aperture isn't the most ideal, this lens is still essential in terms of a wide focal range. I'd even call this a good lens for beginning or intermediate videographers or photographers like myself.

Overall I like this lens, but it is not as sharp as I expected from an L lens at this price. Under f/6 the pictures are not sharp enough for me. If I were you I would compare the Sigma 24-105mm f/4 to this lens before buying the Canon lens.

My husband wanted a better lens and he got this and loves it!!

I waited for sometime for Best Buy to get this lens in stock and when they got it I jumped on the chance. This lens is a great all around carry lens for the zoom range it covers. Nice sharp pictures and very quick focus make this lens a must have for general shooting. It seems that Canon is not releasing this lens to third party sellers quick enough and Best Buys seems to have removed it from their site.

Canon has come out with significant upgrades over the first generation lens with better focusing, locking zoom and sharper glass.
