After 3 weeks using Canon 1Dx mark II, I am very happy with the camera for wildlife photo and its focus systems is very fast, frame rate are excellent no underrun special with the new memory SanDisk compact flash CFast 2.0 64 GB came with it. Pictures colors are pop. I would recommend this camera and you will not disappoint.

As a professional photographer this is the best there is in the Canon line. A true beauty to work with and worth the $6000.00 price tag. This camera is not for the casual user or for a person that can not bear the weight for all day shoots.

I'm not moving from a 1DX, but a 40D (so my point of comparison is a mile away). I have not yet had a chance to photograph a sporting event under low-light, so haven't been able to exercise the *core competency* of the camera. However, 4k video is great, as is 120fps HD (which gives a passable 25% slo-mo output). I can't hear that 14fps burst often enough (gotta be careful not to burn through my 400,000 image life of the camera just listening to the burst speed). Comfortable grip (but still a heavy camera, particularly with a 70-200 2.8L, which I usually hand-hold). Haven't mastered the AF yet, but there are a million configurable ways to use it. The camera is perfect for me - right for low-light action photography, and with lots of new features that will have me learning new things for years.
