3 years ago my Canon 20D got the dreaded err99 and I haven't had a DSLR since. I have been desperately wanting to get back into my photography, and after going to Best Buy and trying a few out, the 60D came with the same familiarity of my 20D, but with some awesome upgrades. I absolutely love how my photos come out, and the swiveling preview screen really makes such an incredible difference for some of the more difficult angles. I am beyond pleased with this purchase and highly recommend to anyone in the photography world!

Excellent camera. Absolutely love this camera the photo quality is beautiful. Can not wait till spring, to try this new camera out on the flowers in the garden and hitting the trails in the park.

I looked and looked and for the price I couldn't beat it. It was way better the rebel models I felt. The build quality was much better as well. Great for beginners as well since its simple to learn.

I love this camera, I just bought a second 60d to use with a wide angle lens, I keep a 100-400 lens on the other camera. The lens on this camera is an ok lens, good for walk aroung lens.

The Vari angle LCD makes it easy to take a photograph at odd angles and knowing what is in the view finder. With my old camera I would just shoot and hope I had the right composition. The lens has such latitude that I can use it in in many situations.

The Canon 60D is loaded with features, is compact, feels great in my hands, and overall is just pretty much everything you would ask for in a DSLR. The built in electronic level is just a must in any shooting situation, I have used it lots so I will say its very useful, the shutter is much better than those of the Rebel series cameras, sounds better too. The button layout is great and feels professional. Picture quality is sharp and has amazing colors, shoots wonderful pictures with lots of different setting to adjust how your picture turns out. The Camera has 9 AF Points, all cross type which is something you won't find in any of the Rebel series cameras (only 1 cross type). The swivel screen is very good for shooting video, and for general purpose photography to get to those hard to get to angles. Also is good for storage, filliping the screen towards the camera helps prevent scratches. Full HD Video shooting is beyond great, it's super sharp but you'll need a SDHC card that can write 20 MB/s or higher (preferably higher for longer videos). The 18-135mm kit lens is a decent lens for all around shooting, the focus is quick and pretty quiet, and background blur effect in portrat's is great. Overall, this camera is excellent in lots of ways and is an awesome camera for intermediate or professional photographers. A must for people interested in photography, its definitely worth the price!

I stepped up to this Canon DSLR Camera because I heard a-lot of great reviews on it from family and friends... I must say, "it is the BEST DSLR camera I have ever owned"... The pictures are vivid and amazing quality when shooting outdoors and you hardly notice any digital noise (graininess) when shooting in low light conditions... The Main reason I love this camera, is the swivel High Resolution LCD screen so you can shoot photo's from any angle... The 1920/1080p HD video is very impressive on a Digital SLR Camera and is very compatible to that of a High Definition camcorder... Another great thing about this camera, is the very long lasting Lithium-Ion Battery which can take up to approximately 900 photo's on a full charge when using the on board flash... The EF-S18-135mm image-stabilized lens that is included with the camera is a very good lens for shooting portraits close-up, or, at medium range... I also purchased a "Canon - 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Telephoto Zoom Lens" on sale for $499.99... It is a GREAT lens with great colors and crisp detail and is a must for the photographer who wants superb photographs... Canon also really put a-lot of extra's and features into this great camera and i've been very impressed with everything about it and look forward to staying a Canon customer for a very long time!!! Thank You Canon!!! The two supplied images are photo's I shot with the Canon EOS 60D late at night...
