Awesome Camera
Posted .I was looking for a light weight camera, and I really loved this one, it's not that bulky and heavy like others. The LCD display is really great, the auto focus is great. In summary, I would recommend this to a friend, and others that are looking for a DSLR, every penny was worth the effort! I've included a sample of a non edited image that I took with my canon t6s.

Love the Features and easy connect
|Posted .This camera was my choice over the Canon 70D. I loved the 70D simply for the wifi, but when I saw this camera, I couldn't wait for it to come out. The additional megapixels, easy connect, the stock lens on the T6s was a great selling point for me as well. For the price of the Body only for the 70D, I got a evenly comparable camera with an excellent lens.

AMAZING Camera!
|Posted .Honestly, one of the best purchases I've ever made. This is my first dslr, even though I've been in photography for a bit, and the t6s was everything I expecting and way more. The 24 mp really allow you to get creative with your shots without losing a spec of quality.

Best camera yet!
|Posted .Made the purchase to photograph my grand daughter's wedding. Fabulous pictures capable of manipulation on iPhoto. Resolution was terrific and the auto feature was more than sufficient. Especially great was the camera's performance in low light conditions: Amazing advances in digital technology. So glad I upgraded my capabilities.

I love my new Canon EOS Rebel T6s
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI bought my first Canon in 1973. This is my 2nd. I was going to buy the 70D and opted for this- newer technology and much lighter and I put the savings towards a wide angle lens. I have been shooting with a Fuji Finepix S5500 which takes excellent pictures. The T6s is amazing. The quality and color of the images are first rate. The resolution is incredible even on reduced levels 8x10 photos look amazing. The Best Buy store gave me the Internet bundle which was a nice deal. I'm still learning the ins and outs of the camera and keep the manual with me when I travel for airplane reading. So far based on what I've seen I would recommend this camera.

Great first DSLR Camera!
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI was looking into buying a camera for some amateur/intermediate video work and decided to look for a Canon camera from its reviews. Luckily I did some research into buying a camera because this new and affordable Rebel series had lots to offer. I am happy with the 24.2 megapixel that came with it. Overall, I'm a happy customer.

Q: QuestionWhich lense for high school sports.....mainly football & soccer?I am seriously considering buying this camera. A much wanted upgrade from my 1st DSLR Olympus E-510! Is the 18-135mm lense sufficient for high school football and soccer games, or would the 55-250mm be necessary? Have you used the 55-250mm and if so, how is it for these sports? How well does the optical stabilizer work? Thank you!
Asked by Justdulci.
- A:Answer Since most games are played in the afternoon and night, and have lots of motion, these lenses aren't going to serve you well for those kinds of shots. You may get a good shot here and there with good light and fast shutter speeds, but to get good tight or action images, you are going to need at least a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. For daylight, you might be OK with a 70-200mm f/4. The only thing is that these lenses are expensive. For the faster glass extended range telephoto zoom lenses, you are going to pay at least $1500+, which is a sizeable investment if you are not a pro. If you are a soccer mom who is shooting in daylight most of the time, just get a good tripod and be sure you have the skills to know how to get the types of shots you want. Get close as possible to the action. Don't rely on the camera presets too much. The auto-focus and stabilization are pretty good though. Best advice - know how to use your camera and practice, practice, practice!
