Excellent camera
|Posted .Anyone who's ever laid eyes on a Canon PowerShot will recognize the familiar sleek silver design. Since this layout has been refined over many generations into a paragon of efficient user-friendliness, our design complaints are rather limited. We did notice, however, that the controls seemed a bit mashed together. You might chalk it up to our sausage fingers, but we found it easy to hit the wrong button on four-way command cluster. The 8x zoom mechanism also seemed a touch slow, but not slow enough to cause real headaches.
I would recommend this to a friendRating 5 out of 5 stars with 1 review
Our 2nd Canon. This one has bigger zoom.
|Posted .The attractive things of course was ease of use, an a nice zoom. Although the flash doesn't cover the zoom range. Having a variety of picture quality choices was also a plus. Make great enlargements.

Great Point and Shoot Camera
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThe Features are great on this camera. The picture quality is amazing. The price is extremely good for what you get. I consider myself a fairly knowledgeable tech guy, and the only negative I can give for this camera is that the built-in WiFi is not user friendly at all. I tried many times to connect and it just isn't very easy; I got it to work, but after a lot of tinkering with the settings. Also, not stated, but is required for WiFi sharing to work is you either have to install a bunch of software on your computer or get a Canon App on your phone. Someone that doesn't know technology very well would have an extremely hard time getting the WiFi sharing to work.

Great camera for beginner and intermediate users
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendFor the beginner, this camera takes great, sharp pictures and is easy to carry. You can set it on automatic and does a great job picking the right settings in most situations. For those with some interest in photography, you can use a number of settings to suit a specific scene or lighting. I've managed to get good shots in low light; including a moonlit outdoor scene (although the photo quality is not is good as on daylight). I carry the camera in a pocket on morning jogs and have occasionally been able to capture some wildlife: deer, coyotes, hawks, tarantulas, and rattlesnakes!

Best value on the market
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI own 6 different cameras - 4 of them are Canons. 2 of my largest cameras are in the EOS Rebel family. This little model takes images that rival the picture quality of my Rebels. This small model is feature rich and delivers consistently high quality photos. It is the perfect size for a spare , backup, or the ONLY camera on a trip. The construction quality and materials enable years of reliable photography. I would replace it with another if this one were lost or damaged.

Great camera for vacations
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI have a larger 35mm camera, but the size of it makes it harder to pack for long trips and its a lot heavier to have hanging around your neck as well as in the way for activities. This camera fits nicely into a pocket or a small purse. It's very easy to use and the pictures are great. Last vacation I got some great shots of lightening that my other camera hasn't been able to catch. I also like the Bluetooth compatibility.

Great camera for taking fun pictures easily
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI love that I can just drop it in my purse with no added weight & it takes great pictures. I haven't had the camera long enough to try out many features…looking forward to that. Overall, it's a very easy camera to use with great pictures a result!

Excellent point and shoot
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI bought this camera to replace my first cannon elph point and shoot - it was many of same features as my five year old one, and the addition of wifi have made this camera even more valuable. I love that I can take pictures and send directly to my iPhone via the cannon app. Ease of being able to share the pictures immediately after I take them as you can with a smartphone is a huge bonus for me. I'm a cannon user for life!

Q: Question3 cameras on sale. The price on each is different depending on color. Can you help me? I plan to but this camera. The red one is the cheapest. The grey is $30 more and the silver is $50 more than the grey one. The technical data on each appears to be the same. Are there any technical differences between the cameras? Is the color the only difference?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer If everything about the picture quality and ease of use is the same then go with the color that is cheapest. Whats more important to you? What it does or how it looks? Reminds me of a girl I know who will not buy a car of a certain color because either it shows dirt or she doesn't like the exact shade of color. She doesn't appreciate that whatever color it is what matters is how the car works and runs and uses gas. Color is just an added thing and who wants to pay more just for a color case?
