  A solid case that isn't too bulky

  I'm fairly happy with this case so far. It feels nice and sturdy and gives the phone a grippy texture, reducing the chances it will fall out of my hand. It keeps the glass on both sides from touching surfaces when I put it down without adding too much bulk. The cutouts and buttons are in all the right places, but I wish the buttons blended in with the case instead of being made of that "chrome" plastic we all know chips and peels over time. I wouldn't exactly consider this "military-grade protection", but it's fairly solid.

  This thing may feel good and grippy until it falls

  This thing may feel good and grippy until it falls less than 4 ft... I got out of my vehicle and it dropped for the 1st time dead on case and shattered my new lg g6... Thats why I didnt want a phone that doesnt have a slim otterbox, but did it anyways stick with otterbox and your gut
