Casio - TRYX 12.1-Megapixel Digital Camera - White

I simply love this camera because of the awesome features it has. such as, hd art, hdr photos, and high speed recording which creates a slow motion effect. This camera takes great photos, including hdr photos which are incredible. as well as HD video that will blow your mind. There really isn't much of a zoom on this camera but i'm very impressed with everything else. Performance in low light is not that good but if you have good lighting your set. I have a video posted along with this to show you some example video using the slow motion feature. I bought the Camera for the Slow motion video alone. Check it out!

This camera is much better that a lot of the YouTube reviews lead on. It has some great features that I will find very useful in making new content for my youtube channel, as well as some high quality photos!! The HDR Art is fantastic! It does have an LED light for dark scenes, and believe me, it is BRIGHT!! The high speed camera is great as well! The motion shutter is one of the coolest features and the drag down timer is great! It's very versatile and does not requite a tripod. It is however a great camera to vlog with and I would recommend it for an entry HD camera! I'm using for basic gun/knife reviews, range videos, etc. on my youtube channel. I am really pleased with this purchase! The price as of July 12th, 2011 is $189.99 and I used my rewards points to score an extra $40.00 discount!!! It's definitely worth the buy at $199.99, which I believe is a perfect price point!

The camera looks great but is more like a movie trailer instead of a great movie. Things they don't tell you. It does not have a flash, but has an LED light you manually turn on/off in dark situations. Also, the zoom range is very small/minimal. Another problem with the zoom feature is that you cannot take a picture and then view it and zoom into certain parts such as yourself to see a closer view. The cool feature of HDR art has to be selected before you take the picture...no deciding you want to change it later (although you may be able to once you download the pic). Another thing, touch screen quality is very weak compared to something like the iphone. Lastly, the slow motion feature is cool, but can easily be done in iphoto. I now own the 14.1 megapixel Casio camera and it works much better and was $100 cheaper.

Very easy to operate, great picture quality, easy transfer to computer. The only issue I had was when I flipped it to use right handed my videos were upside down, still working on that issue but it's so minor that it shouldn't concern anyone.
