Going down the memory lane - excellent movie
I found this gem in a clearance bin while at my local Best Buy store. Brought back a decade old memories. Great movie, excellent location, beautiful cinematography, superb acting, and a very good emotional roller coaster ride story. Five bucks for a Blu-ray was simply too good a deal to pass up. Go dig through your local BB clearance bin and if you find it, buy it.
As a man finds himself alone he must, find within, the will and strength to survive. As he is rescued he disvovers he is still alone and must do it all again. Will he find love? Will he persevere in his new oneness in society? It's a great movie for those of us feeling alone while surrounded by people.
This movie mad me sad. I felt sorry for Tom Hanks being trapped on an Island by himself. I especially cried when he lost Wilson. That was his only friend. I was happy when he got rescued.
