I bought this DVD for the high-fidelty audio that far exceeds that of a standard CD. I was hoping that it was 2 channel, 24 bit, 192 kHz music, but instead it was 5.1 channel and 96 kHz (sampling rate). The surround sound effects are a lot better than anticipated, as each channel is fully utilized. My decoder only sees multiple channels with 5.1 DTS, but not 5.1 Dolby. It took me a few hours to figure out how to rip the music to harddrive at a lossless format (sorry, no MP3's for me). I wish there were more titles available on DVD-A format. Mannheim Steamroller may be the best Christmas music you'll ever hear, but the button on the case broke after a few days, and the information packet is hard to get out of the front cover. My amp seems to be getting extra hot since I've been playing things so loud.
