Neill Blomkamp (District 9, Elysium) expands on his 2003 short film Tetra Val in this futuristic sci-fi saga written in collaboration with screenwriter Terri Tatchell (who previously worked with Blomkamp on the screenplay for District 9), centering on the story of a police robot named Chappie, who develops the ability to think and feel for himself. As people fight back against the mechanized police force, sinister forces seek to capture Chappie for their nefarious purposes.~Jason Buchanan
We are Tetravaal - the cast discuss their characters and experiences on the set.
Chappie is a movie by Neil Blompkat that dwells into the lives of viewers and their feelings tolerated people or things that are different and how far would you go to stand up for what you feel is right .
A must recommended movie filmed in South Africa featuring the biggest names out of that country and in their movie debut as them selves - Yolandi and Ninja from Die Antwoord.

Cool futuristic movie where robots police the us
Nice movie with very interesting special effects. Anyone interested in the future may want to see this one. Somewhat scary!
Chappie is a blend of quite a few movie genres. A little comedy, action, drama wrapped in a sci fi package. Very much a modern day retelling of the classic movie Short Circuit which I've always had a soft spot for, I enjoyed this movie very much.
