They're beautiful, they're brilliant, and they can kick your butt -- the most glamorous private eyes in the world are back in action in this big-screen adaptation of the popular '70s television series. Natalie (Cameron Diaz) is the smart but silly one, Dylan (Drew Barrymore) is the tough but fun-loving one, and Alex (Lucy Liu) is the classy but hard-as-nails one, and they work for a man named Charlie (voice of John Forsythe), who never meets his employees face to face. Along with their helper Bosley (Bill Murray), the Angels are sent into action when electronics genius Eric Knox (Sam Rockwell) is kidnapped, with the nefarious Roger Corwin (Tim Curry) as the prime suspect. But they soon learn even bigger danger is afoot -- the kidnappers have gotten their hands on Knox's latest invention, a system that can monitor voice communication from anywhere in the world, virtually ending the notion of private conversation. Charlie's Angels also stars Crispin Glover, Luke Wilson, Kelly Lynch, and Tom Green.~Mark Deming
Can’t go wrong with the big timer cast. Watched it at the theater and couldn’t believe I was listening to the Prodigy on a mainstream movie which was my highlight moment.
Always a great picture on an OLED, 4k upscale.
Dialog was on the low level despite played on an Oppo with a 11.2 (7.2.4).
I would recommend this to a friend

Not 2019. Much better

This is not a great movie. But compared to the Charlie’s angels movie released in 2019 it looks like a Oscar caliber film. If you saw the 2019 film try this one and maybe it will cleanse the bad taste in your mouth
I’ll be honest when I first saw the trailer for this I was instantly “Hard Pass”. Then a friend told me to see it. I did and boy am I glad I did. It’s a great homage to Charlie’s Angels. Filled with Easter eggs and cameos and such for the long time fan of the tv show and previous movies.
This film in particular though is loaded with great action, cool backstories for the main three characters. Very mission impossible like moments and two major twists that you won’t see coming. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys and action and comedy.
I was nervous about picking this one up, but for $10 on Black Friday sale I could not resist. Yes the movie is very corny as well as the action, but make no mistake about it the Angels never looked and sounded so good. It came with a slipcover and digital copy within. Very satisfied with this...sort of an oldie, but guilty pleasure.
