Saw great reviews for it on RightStuf and the trailer impressed, so I figured I'd pull the trigger. Glad I did. This is not a har3m anime, more of an action/love story. But that doesn't stop some of the familiar tropes from getting in. It revolves around a young man proving himself to his classmates, his love interest, and to himself (hence chivalry of a FAILED knight) and if that seems familiar it's because it's in every single anime out there. But without spoiling things, the story line goes differently than expected. Animation is gorgeous to spellbinding. Think first season One Punch Man. Dub is not bad, and the voices sound like the typical talent that we hear from Funimation or Sentai. I haven't listened to the Japanese track yet. Comedy is pretty funny when it hits. Western viewers will understand most of it. There's always a little cringe, but that's to be expected. Lastly if you were expecting good... ahem... fan service, this is one of those serious that doesn't have "details". Like No Game No Life or Food Wars. Two discs, thirteen ( I believe) episodes, limited extras. Menu is pretty standard. I recommend it.
