as you can see in my photo , i mounted it upside down in my car .. as i donna mount anything to my windshield .. so this is my very first escort and buying on sale. . to see how good it does compared to my cheepie whister that cost $40 that you see in my photo too .. i was not impress as for comparison , and i had many before,, cheep and expensive ones using radar detectors for decades ,, and understand limitation and performance .. but being more , way more costly than a cheepie ,, they both essentially do the same .. and provide the same warning .. the escort may be a little better in certain situations and features ,, but that is expected for what you pay .. and if you want to pay more ,, that is up to you .. but if you want just a warning and not Mr. speed racer to avoid a ticket,, you need to get one of these ,, and it has saved me many times ,, the local nj towns will set up anywhere on local roads at different places and times if you are a speed demon and expect this to save your but ... a radar detector is not your answer .. .go to race track and speed ..

good radar detector, does not make a lot of noise, everything reacts to the case, I recommend!

Great Cobra! Higher end components make this Cobra able to detect Ka band at great distant & Laser alerts as well. Hook up via GPS will tell speed limit & your speed. After Cobra bought out Escort there Technology is in this Cobra Dual Pro 360. A big upgrade to Cobra!
