Aside from the fact you have to jump through a few hoops to do things, it does the job. I took a star off because I wanted to this with a keyboard and mouse on my Xbox One and PS4, because lets face it. They're better. They work quite well with a few tweaks (except for Halo 5, do not buy this for Halo 5, it sucks.) but you have to have the device plugged into your PC as a pass-through the whole time. Not so great. There are ways around this, but that requires another device and that's just silly.

Even the slight possibility that this would work had me intrigued. Being able to use any controller on any system was very appealing to me. If you have a controller preference and play on multiple systems, this keeps you from having to change up those trained reflexes you have on your most used controller. This even works with the Xbox one Elite controller, including the paddles. There are features as well that will allow for rapid fire and other mods, which will give you an unfair advantage in online multiplayers, which is the one thing I don't like about this. However, the ability to use controllers across any platform and customize the button layout to whatever you want it to be is the sole reason this is such a great product.

I've been playing computer based games for most of my life. Using a keyboard to play is almost second nature and very hard for me to break... and for me it has always been the first person shooter games! however, I'm also a console gamer... I like games like Madden, NHL, NBA, etc... sports based.. migrating from the CPU to the Console for me has been tough but this certainly makes it easier... high level of customization is available. For me though, just using my keyboard and mouse are a win. I'm still battling with the best mouse settings... (probably because I buy cheap mice)... but this works great!
