By today's standards, the shows from this time are slow and plodding. The characters are a bit cartoonish. But still a lot of fun. Every episode starts off with the bad guy committing the murder, and the show becomes how will Columbo figure out how this guy did it. The bad guy will try to throw him off but Columbo always figures it out n the end. The show will never get you on the edge of your seat, screaming in anguish, but it never fails to entertain. It stands the tet of time while most shows of that era do not.

I used to watch Columbo with my recently deceased mom, he was always one of our favorites. Season 2 is even more special because Leonard NImoy aka Mr. Spock ( my all time, and still is my favorite idol) guest stars. I have not seen this show in many years, and it holds a lot of warm memories for me.

Columbo was a favorite Sunday night show. Always was entertaining and many years later, still is. Only negative about this season two set, is I would like to be able to watch just one episode at time, and if I shut the DVD off after the end of the first episode, there's no way to start it at the second episode.
