I had poor reception on XFi/Verizon at the vineyard farmhouse. A lot of dropped calls from inside and office I’d have to go outside closer to road to get just a couple of bars. I placed the new antennae on roof pointed to where I thought the cell tower was. Kit supplied plenty of cable to run down roof then inside. The flat window entry cable worked to test but I had a landline cable entry point that was no longer used so after testing I ran outside roof cable directly into room to minimize connectors and unions. Placed the inside antennae high on interior wall. I get 4 bars in that room and 3 in rest of house now . Strong clear singnal and sound. Very pleased despite the high price. Worth it for me since cell is business line as well and not good for image when conference and support calls get dropped mid conversation. Nothing worse than being on hold for tech support then have call dropped randomly. Solid product so far!!!! Excellent signal improvement. Pretty easy to install. No configuration. Just plug in antennaes, point, power up and check signal strength. Adjust outside antennae if necessary.

Made a huge difference at the deer camp. Had no signal at our bunkhouse. We had to try to find a signal on top of a hill or sometimes for a fleeting second while standing in the back of a truck while doing handstands. Now we get 4G-LTE with full bars all around the camp. Should have gotten one years ago. Did notice that our ATT phone signals were slightly better than a friends T-Mobile.

Without access to an android phone, it is near impossible to set up. My family has iPhones (6s, 7, 8 and x). I contacted the company, Wilson Electronics, when I could could not get beyond putting my phone in field test mode *3001#12345#* to see the signal strength, their response was “if you do not have access to an android phone, you might as well return it, since iOS 11 came out, they don’t have a way to see signal strength on iPhones for their set up.” Apparently their directions are pre-iOS 11 since I tried them, I tried YouTube videos, and I googled field test mode to try and get around what the customer service representative did not know. I learned lots of things about my phone, except how to access the signal strength in field test mode on an iPhone with iOS 12. Their directions ask for the indoor antenna and the outdoor antenna to be placed according to signal strength which cannot be done by just looking at the bars on the phone. They stated that if I could see a strong variance while in 3G then I could guess and install, but it might not help. Per Wilson Electronics suggestion, the weboost will be returned.
