Installation process should be this: (1) install cpu and memory into motherboard. (2) mount motherboard into case. (3) plug in front panel connectors. (4) plug in sata cables into motherboard (5) plug in power cables from PSU to motherboard and PSU to CPU (6) mount PSU to case. The small case fan on side of the case is useless. So either don't connect it or install your own. If you choose to install your own, then do so before you mount the motherboard. The larger case fan at the front should also be replaced, but replacing it is easy -- just pull open the front panel of the case.
