Good While it lasted
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. In November I started having issues with the PSU, At first I thought I was getting thermal shut downs with my Strix 580 untill I noticed a little pop noise every time the GPU would be placed under load and then the system would just shut down. I swapped out to my 750 G3 and been running fine since.

7 Months Later
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed.7 months after purchasing, this PSU has died on me. It will still power the computer on, and you can do basic tasks like web surfing or office work, but less than 10 minutes of playing a game will cause it to kick off and restart the computer. It simply can't take a load anymore. I swapped the PSU with a Corsair CX650m I picked up because I needed my computer to be working, and everything is fine now. 100% a PSU failure. I'm running an i5 9600k (stock speeds) and an Aorus 2070 Super for reference. 650w should be plenty, and I figured an 80+ Gold PSU at this price range from a reputable brand would be a solid unit. Up until now it was a great power supply and I played games daily without issue. I tried watching the voltages on CPUID since I don't have the tools required to check the power coming from the wall or PSU, and the voltages were fine even up to the instance of shutdown. It just can't sustain a load for more than about 10 minutes now. I'm just disappointed. I will update this review after the RMA process. Like an idiot I hadn't registered the unit when I built my PC, but I've done so now, I keep all my packaging for the duration of warranties, and uploaded the receipt, so it's just a matter of waiting for CM to give me the RMA option on my profile there.

Killed 2 motherboards
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed.I initially bought this psu and built a system with it, it seems like a great deal for a 650W gold psu but mine and many other reviews have come doa, even worst the power supply killed 2 motherboards that i purchased.

Great Power Supply for mid level use.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I bought this power unit to go in a computer that will be used for moderate level programs. Won't be doing in high end gaming or heavy duty video production so this unit should have plenty of power for my needs. I also like that you can attach just the power cables you need to the power supply and this keeps your box from being cluttered with those you need. I've only had it installed a short time but it seems to be very good in my unit.

Cooler Master PSU
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. Not much I can say about the power supply other than it's great. It's definitely future proof for beginner pc builders unless you're going really over the top.
