My computer case doesn't have a "window," so looks aren't everything for me. BUT my old PSU was a rat's nest of extra cables (who needs floppy?) Semi modular for this price is great. I only wish the cables were rounded, but for this price, the quality and brand reputation is hard to beat. I actually only use 2 SATA power cables right now, so having a lot less cables just makes working in the case so much nicer. Oh this is quiet too * Photo shows cables before management to give idea of what you're looking at buying

I brought this home and rather than testing it out like an intelligent person. I routed the wires and installed it properly. When I flipped the power switch 1 fan oddly spun for a second then nothing power switch didn't do anything. I troubleshot this thing for an hour before pulling an old PSU out of my closet and figured out the new PSU was garbage. Boxed it up, brought it to the store and exchanged it for the Thermaltake version. The Thermaltake works fine but the last one I had overheated when the fan went out after just 1.5 yrs.

I purchased the power supply after my existing one in a home theater PC died. It was sufficient wattage and a good price on sale. It did what i needed. However, when mounted upside down (with the fan down) there was some intermittent fan noise. Sounded like something was hitting the fan, a wire maybe. I couldn't find anything obvious without taking it apart (and voiding the warranty) so i flipped it so the fan was up and it stopped. No problems since then. Overall a nice PSU, but may have issues being mounted upside down.

I purchased a high end gaming pc from CyberPowerPC in May 2017 and recently my pc died. After doing some testing I figured it was probably the Power Supply. When I opened the PC up it had this exactly model inside. Being impatient I went out and found this same model at local Best Buy and purchased it. Installed it and PC fired back up. Well over a month now and no issues. Getting a RMA from the PC builder for replacement of the old PSU so I will have a spare now.

This was a replacement for the original Dell under powered 340 wat power supply for my Dell XPS 8900. It was or at least seemed to be starving for more power. with this new unit it really works well. It is almost twice the power size as the original and was about $20.00 less than the replacement from dell. It was very easy to install and came with all the instructions. took about 20 minutes to install and put back into service.

This is a nice semi modular supply. I've used in several builds and have not had it fail yet. It has plenty of cable length for all the building I've done in mid tower builds. I mean what else can you say this will psu will not leave you stranded in my experience, come with all the cables you need or don't need and the only thing thats not modular are your 20/4 pin which you cant do without anyways.

I bought this thinking my PSU died after 1.5 years, turned out it was the battery on the motherboard, but that was after I installed this PSU. I decided to keep this because it's got far better cable management and is quiet. I was conscious of other reviewers and because of my motherboard, the intake fan faces downwards, and I haven't noticed any acoustic noises under load. Anyhow, good value.

I've been building my own computers as well as ran a custom computer and repair shop from my home for over 10 years now. As Corsair began to branch out past DRAM, I have been along for the ride. I have had to replace one, that's it, ONE Corsair component in all my years of using their products. This is no different and I have full confidence this unit will last as long as I need it to and then some.
