Q: Do the LED stay lit if the USB is plugged in but the power is off
A: The short answer is yes. However, I have found that if I tap a button, it does turn on. I'm sure it's a setting somewhere I have missed.
A: One has mx brown switches and one has mx speed switchs
Q: Can the wrist pad be removed (without damaging anything)?
A: Wrist rest pad is very easy to put on & removal is the same.
Q: are there going to be extra keys?
A: There are 6 dedicated macro keys on the far left that are extra and several extra key caps come with the keyboard and are optional to use.
A: The main cord splits into two usb plugs at the end. One for the keyboard and one for pass-thru. I picked mine up today and have my headphones plugged into the PT port. Works great. At this price it's hard to beat.
