Corsair really got a great things going with the RGB stuff. Its a bit pricey compared to others but they are beautiful and quiet. I'm glad I got them!!!

Great PC fan!
|Posted .This is an awesome fan. My only negative thing is that it needs to plug into the lighting node pro or lighting commander for it to change colors. I am currently using it as my exhaust fan and it is just white.

Excellent fans
|Posted .I would have given these fans 5 stars but the only reason I didn't is because they don't move a lot of air through radiators if you are using them for case fans they are awesome 5 out of 5. They can be a tad loud past 1000rpm but I have mine set to 850 and works perfect.

Q: QuestionDo I need the node pro for this or just plug it into the motherboard?

- A:Answer I've read that if you plug it directly into an MSI motherboard then mystic light (Rgb control software) will be able to control it. I'm not sure if iCue would work without the iCue node though. My source is reddit. "Connecting Corsair LL120 RGB to MOBO" posted about 1 year ago. So if you want to fully take advantage of the RGB setup with the LL120 fans, what I would do if I was you would go buy directly from Corsair, they have a bundle special for 3 fans and the node for like 139.99. Or if you're still in the process of building you can maybe switch your case to an iCue 465x which comes with a node pre installed and 3 fans.

- A:Answer No it will not to enable the led function you need to hook up the lighting node pro not only to usb header on motherboard but to SATA power. You also need to use the Corsair link software to control the fan led

Q: QuestionI have a MSI z390-A pro motherboard will these fans directly plug into to my mother board and if they do will the led's lights be able to be controlled by my ICUE software?
