This pack of Corsair Vengeance contains two (2) 8Gb RAM chips for a total of 16GB. I would suggest this to anyone who: - Overclocks - Uses hi-end media software such as Adobe Creative Suite or PROtools. - Hosts dedicated servers for various games. - Uses resource intensive applications If you are looking to build a 'future-proof' machine I would also suggest this simply because if you are not doing any of the above there is not a single application or process that will be using all of this RAM up - unless there is a memory leak or the application itself is not optimized correctly. The best thing about this RAM however - the main reason I bought it personally - was because of it only being 2 chips and not 4. Your best bet would be to buy two of these for a total of 32GB of RAM if you only have 4 memory expansion slots on your mobo (motherboard).
