Good, but sadly not great
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.So I'm gonna start this off by saying that I have not done any stress testing or heavy usage on this YET, and I'm still waiting on a gpu so that I can put this thing to use. So far the memory has run stable and cool. I did glance at overclocking options under Xmp in the Uefi/Bios and didn't see any options to boost the clock speeds. With the voltage regulation on the dimm itself for ddr5, though, I might have to use cosair's software for that so I will look into it. Being an early adopter of ddr5 does come at a high cost and unfortunately ddr5 just doesn't live up to that hype yet. Latency is higher than ddr4 and the extra clock just doesn't provide a noticeable improvement. Overall, I rate the item itself well, but I would recommend waiting another few months at the bare minimum before considering purchasing ddr5 memory. Better, more practical options are bound to come out for a more fair price.
