What a way to enjoy a classic, i used to watch these on a tube tv as a kid with toonami commercials. It looks way different and i always rewatch them on long plane trips. But them on sale!

With out a doubt, "Cowboy Bebop" is one of the greatest anime's to exist. The stories of Spike, Jet, Faye, Ed, and Ein are extremely captivating. Yes, it is in a 90's anime art style. This may be disheartening for my modern spoiled anime viewers, but this does not take away any of the love created by Hajime Yatate. There are multiple themes made throughout the show. An important note about the show is that it follows an awkward but synthetic storyline. There are bits and pieces that the viewer must catch on that follow the canon story to the main crew. However, most of the show follows random events taking place aboard Spike and Jet's ship, "The Bebop." Both Spike Spiegel and Jet Black are bounty hunters in a sci-fi dystopian world. The show is rich in lore but leaves the viewers wanting more of the story. Earth isn't much inhabited anymore, and the main planet is now Mars. Throughout the story, you uncover bits of Spikes past life. This undeniably is one of the biggest pieces of information many viewers still do not know as the ending doesn't really leave much. However, it was a story told, and that was the main point. The show continues to include more story arcs amongst each character until the final showdown between "The Bebop" crew and the main villain. My favorite episode is "Fridge Monster" so please if you can afford it, embellish yourself on a great journey. The copy included comes with 4 discs and a paper slip on cover. It is important to own physical media especially for English audiences as many streaming companies have been getting the subtitles wrong for the Japanese translation. This is a great anime and I highly recommend anyone that can afford this to please pursue this franchise. Don't go anywhere near the Netflix adaption within a 10-foot pole.
