Like, you put the raw food ingredients into the crockpot, turn it on, wait a long amount of time and then *BAM* Food. It’s like my nutritionist and my daily calendar got together and were like, “Let’s make something so he can subsist on more than just noodle cups and peanut butter (Author’s note: noodle cups and peanut butter are not eaten together, mind you. I’m not a savage).” Then they produced this wonderful device that can literally cook my food without me staring at it. Pro Tip: be careful when cooking things with cheese in it because there’s kind of a sweet spot around the 3 hour point where cheese goes from being melty magic to charred regret that makes your food taste like molten rubber. Disregard if molten rubber is your jam. Also, have not tried putting jam in the crockpot.

    Too Hot!

It is a very good crockpot if you like things Hot! This would be a good thing if hot was the extent of it. It doesn't have a warm ... (it does but warm still cooks as if it is on high). I noticed that no matter what temperature it is set at the food still cooks and has even burnt to the bottom. The device will properly switch from cook to warm, but again warm is not set low enough. It will continue to boil food and has on more than one occasion burnt my meal. Watch this crockpot carefully and she's a Beaut' but let it go on it's on and watch out!!

This crockpot is great if you only need one 2 to 4 times a month, or once a week at most. I think if you need one more frequently the bare bones nature of this model would be irritating. It took awhile to heat and there are no special features, just your standard crock pot, which I was looking for. I do like to make caramel which many people online recommend using a crockpot, but this one is too large and the little dipper that comes with it is just a warmer- it doesn't actually cook anything. I didn't pay attention, the mini was a bonus so I vaguely thought it was maybe like a mini-crockpot but it isn't. Great to keep dips warm at parties, not quite hot enough for some fondues.

Exactly What We Didn't Know We Needed

So my wife and I were in the store for other purchases and we happened upon this crockpot. Now, we had one, and it had a singular knob for Warm, High, and Low cooking. At the time with us working longer days, we would leave it at Low and hope for the best since it wouldn't switch to Keep Warm once it was at a certain point. This one, however, had that exact feature with the programs and times. It really has been a blessing and the little side warmer is good for small servings of queso or other warm dips while the big one houses the main event.

I purchased this slow cooker to replace the one I have had in my household for over 15 years. It was a part of the family . It was hard getting rid of, but now I'm more than happy that I did. The new one is amazingly easy to operate and it fits well with the decor of my kitchen. It cuts my time in the kitchen drastically. I am more than pleased with this one and more excited of the ease in operating it. Foods taste marvelous and my husband now volunteers to cook as well. Thank you Best Buy for introducing me to a life saving product. I highly recommend it and will consider this in gift giving. Blessings

We use the large Crock for family meals. It is the perfect size and shape. The oval fits roasts and things better than the older round Crocks used to. We enjoy leftovers at our house, so never hesitate to use the large one and cook like it's for a full table of people. The small Crock, so far hasn't been in use. I can see that it could be great for warming soup, or if I make a chili and have a person that cannot have the same spice for example...but so far, the large Crock is the one to use...at least once a week for convenience and 'one pot' dinners!

This crock pot is so easy to use, and is so convenient when you want to minimize the amount of time spent in the kitchen with food prep and use of other pots and pans for cooking! I have prepared some roasts, stews, and soups......everything has turned out great so far. The little dipper warmer has worked well for queso and other cheesy dips, but not sure what else it could be used for. Overall, very pleased with this crock pot.

Prior to this purchase, ive been using a slightly smaller Crock Pot slow cooker the past 15 yrs. It was on sale before Christmas so I pulled he trigger and made the purchase. LOVE this new one. It has a new "warm" feature which your heating element changes to once your timer is complete.....thus your meal is not burnt or gets cold. The price is about the same as 15 yrs ago but with more updated features.....I could go on and on
