Its quiet, it puts out a good clean mist. It hold more water than you think, almost 2 liters. The only down side is you will have to fill it every night. Other than the nightly refills it is quiet and has good output. I would recommend this for a kids room for sure Small, sturdy and I don't have any problem with the surface getting wet.

I knew the humidifier was only 1/2 a gallon but it still seemed rather small to me when it first came in the mail. However, it turned out rather perfect for my small 400 sq ft bedroom. It is easy to refill and empty, and a full tank lasts over 7 hours, even on the max setting. It's very quiet as well and although the light is a little bright when on, I don't think it's any brighter than a night light and I rather like the blue glow. All in all, rather glad I got this little humidifier.
