Cyberpunk 2077 Standard Edition - Xbox One, Xbox Series X

We all know of the cyberpunk debacle and how the game is a mess on base Xbox one and PS4 and from someone who mainly played the base ps4 version I can tell you playing this on the Xbox series x is a huge game changer for it the game runs at a smooth 60fps and I’ve rarely ran into any major glitches in my 30 hours on series x. And at the time of the review this isn’t even the series x enhanced version of the game yet(which drops late 2021). So if you have a series x, ps5, or good pc buy this game if not I would wait until you get one of those before buying cyberpunk, the base console versions are just too broken for an enjoyable experience save your money and headaches.

Literally the first 4min into the game and experienced some funny bugs lol luckily I have it on series x, I’ve seen many videos of how bad it is on base last gen console. Tbh it would’ve been a 5 if it wasn’t so disgustingly buggy. The game definitely needed more time in the oven. If I was playing on last gen I would rate it a 2-3 stars. Only reason I’m giving it a 4 is because I am hoping in due time when they release the optimized patch for series x it won’t be as disgusting.. none the less it’s a cool game, definitely not what they promised and DEFINITELY not the best RPG out there, but it is a good game. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME YET!!! Seriously don't buy it till a few months from now when patches roll out for consoles. The game is out now and the framerate on Ps4 pro and Xbox one S/X models are capped at 30fps/720p resolution. Even on my 50" 4K/HDR with my consoles calibrated to the TV it's shows on performance tests it's been capped. Can't even play 1080p. It's been optimized for current gen consoles of the ps5 and series S/X. Graphics are film grained even with settings off. Sharpness down to minimum and it caused your console to crash under high framerate gun fights! It was a very anticipated game for lots of gamers this year and it was a massive let down. Just wait till next year or play COD Cold war. I seriously set up an account to just warn people how potato'ish everything looks and plays. But if you do buy it anyway then I can say when it's not buggy, frame dropping every 5 seconds (sometimes it freezes altogether thinking that game crashed) it's pretty decent but very slow paced in the first few hours of game play. I suggest getting a guidebook for this game as small choices do impact things later on and it ties mission rewards with that as well.

with all the fixes coming out for this game, i’d say it’s a 5 star now

Got it for my brother for his birthday. I asked him after a week and he said it does have some glitches but he's confident it'll have upgrades soon to fix the issues. He said the game is fun.

Incredible game, but incredibly buggy. And the frame rate tanks into the teens at times. I think I may actually come back to this in few months. None of this is surprising though; Witcher III was rough at launch too and CDPR supported and patched it up to near perfection overtime. They will do the same with CP2077. I am playing on launch XBox One. If u have a XSX or PS5, performance is better, but last gen, even the Pro or OneX, don’t play this yet, u will be disappointed.

Will be an amazing game especially after the bugs are worked out and next gen upgrade is released. Would stay away for now on last gen consoles. No problems other then a few hilarious bugs on xbox series x. Owned more paraphernalia for this game before the game even came out lol. If you have a next gen console get it, if not wait.
