In the short time we have had the cooktop, we are impressed with both looks and performance. At Pacific Sales there were many cooktops displayed. Our salesperson recommended this one as a mid priced, upscale cooktop that they often recommend. The construction appears upscale to include durable grates and well functioning burners. On small consideration is that the large burners are in the back and the smaller ones in the front. We were used to the front row having one large and one small burner. To some people this may be important. I think it is just what you are used to. I had some questions and found that the Décor customer service group were very helpful. When I bought my cooktop, Décor was offering to extend the warranty to 3 years for free as a promotion. This was not mentioned to us in the store (as they want to sell extended warranties. Maybe I can update this after 6 months of use.
