The editing of scenes from old film noir movies into this hilarious comedy was brilliantly executed. Edith Head's costumes were amazing (it was her final film). 5 stars (out of 5)!

While not my favorite Steve Martin film, there is enough laughs that make this film worth owning. One thing this film does that is interesting is how they weave in scenes from other films and have Steve Martin's character interact with the actors from those films. What makes this film work is of course Steve Martin as he is funny as always.
