Deadliest Catch: Alaskan Storm - Xbox 360

Once you end a season you have to play another, and another. Very addictive game play. I am not a big fan of the show, but the game is a decent one. Not much more to it then setting pots and reeling in the loot. The missions are short lived and not to entertaining. Career mode is all about seeing how much you can pull in during a season. Graphics are poor in my opinion. Yeah, the ocean looks great, but the crew and some parts of ship look pixilated. I play the game on a 32" LCD and have had no problem reading the text. However, there are certain graphics that stay displayed on the screen for extended periods. I've noticed that if you use the plotter screen for more then a few mins you'll have to play the rest of the game w/ screen burn in.

I won't lie, this game is time consuming, but it's a simulation game of fishing, when isn't fishing time consuming? In my opinion this is a good game, it mixes a popular TV show with a great simulation story line. This game probably won't be for the most avid 1st person shooter people, but it will have great value for those of us who still play games such as flight sim.

I was given this for my birthday and I can say if it wasn't given to me I would still buy it. Things are kind of slow right off because of the missions you have to do to unlock career mode, but after that it's really enjoyable. The only down fall is the little instructional movies can wear on you and the text on screen is tiny, but if you can get past that it's a very enjoyable game.

This game is extremely realistic. If you've seen the show and you like it, you'll love this game. The only problem is that it's difficult to read any of the text on a standard television. But if you have an HDTV there's no problem, all the writing is crystal clear.

I LOVE THIS GAME!!!! The only thing against it is that i cant read the text. I can almost read it but some things you just have to guess on. And another thing, if you dont love the show, you will hate the game. It is really repetative but if you love the show the drive to beat the other boats and get money outweighs the repetativeness.

this game is not exactly what i expected it to be. i thought it would be really good graphics and just an amazing game. i thought a little wrong. the graphics are poor. and you can barely read the information that you need to know. it is just too small. i hope they make a second one and make it way better than this one. other than the stuff i said, its a pretty good game as far as the things you can do in it.

The more I read about this game the more I want it!!!! Greenwave is making this game so realistic its unreal. For those of you that think this will be a quick 1000 gamer score are in for a surprise.

This game would be awesome, if only you could read the writing. Even with sitting a few feet from the TV, it is almost impossible to read the information that you need to.
