Being an avid AFI fan for some years before the release of DU, I awaited the release of their new studio album, and had the highest of expectations. DU's predecessor, Sing the Sorrow, had been a weird album at first, but eventually I came to call it "epic." DU's sound, however, departed from the STS souns, sounding more mainstream and poppy. Miss Murder, however, is possibly one of the best songs out there for the radio, compare to some of the other stuff that is released these days. In the end, it sounded really different, but that's a good thing. It only makes me wonder what AFI is going to do next.
