I came from from jbls with horn tweeters. These are much more tamed and easy to listen to for hours. The bass is more detailed and less muddy than the e90s i previously had. I bought these on sale because i figured i would just return them if i hate them. I ended up loving them, the build is beautiful for the price. The aluminum fronts look amazing. I would say these are not bass monsters, but if you listen to a wide variety of music, than these are amazing. Movies sound great on these and dialogue is exceptional. Again if you pair with a subwoofer they will enhance the bottome end. I am quite happy with the purchase as i was originally quite biased against def tech. Due to bad amps, but these are passive. Also great unboxing
