I purchased this SC 6000 to replace my DT SuperCube II which still works fine. It was time to purchase a newer version and I'm glad I did. This sub looks and sounds amazing, you know it is present!! I have this in the living room along with BP8060's and a CS9060 center! Perfect setup for daily use! We have several Definitive Technology systems in our home and all of them are flawless! And one last thing, DT's customer service is over the top, the best in the industry!

I was able to locate 2 - SC8000's and I'll never let them go. I have had the SC6000 for a couple of years and it is an amazing little beast for a 13" cube!! I have boxed it up for another system down the road. Now on to the SC8000 review, it is just at another level!! I have the BP9060's, CS9060 center and running only 1 of my SC8000 subs. I have the SC8000 volume at 12 and the cutoff at 65hz and I can honestly say I've never been happier with a subwoofer. I've had almost every sub out there and I find that the SC8000 is the best 16" cube subwoofer out period! I don't need a small refrigerator (sub) to do the same. I'll keep one of these SC8000's boxed up as a backup if needed. If you can find a SC8000 I promise you, you will love it!! Happy movie viewing to all!
