Very Happy with Purchase
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI bought this computer for a den and didn't want the tower and all the wires typically that come with having a desktop. This was very easy to set up, took approx 20 minutes. The screen is large and very clear and bright. Qaulity of graphics is excellent. The sound is great and clear. The touchscreen is excellent, I haven't calibrated the touch as of yet as it works very well right out of the box. The software that comes with it is pretty standard and does include 6 mos. McAfee security. There are special touch software that is kind of neat, games ect. The speed of the computer is excellent and it is very quiet. All in all only had this for a few days, but I am very happy with the quality and function. I am glad I purchased this and look forward to using it for a long time. I was torn between this computer and the Gateway ZX6900, but chose this one as the graphics and screen looked a lot clearer and more vivid. It has only been a few days, but I would highly recommend this computer.

Love my Dell!
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI would have given the rating a perfect score if the processor was faster. I should have paid more attention to that detail but I absolutely fell in love with the size of the screen and the hard drive capacity, especially for the price. I do love Dell. I have been a Dell owner for the past 8 1/2 years. I actually still own and operate my first Dell! So I am very pleased with my new All in one! The fact that is has 6 USB ports was also a big seller. With all the ports I am able to hook up my iPhone and iPad together and still have more room for my flash drive and camera usb to move things around. There is a lag in the performance but I am sure all that activity would even slow down an Intel. I also have a Dell Studio 17 w/ Vista and I have to say that I prefer my All in one now because of the touch screen and the Windows 7. My only real complaint is the speakers. They really on not that great but I can always add on. I also love the starting software and the Microsoft 2010 Word/Excel add on. Perfect! Love my Dell.

Cool, Ergonomic, Great for the Sale price
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI got mine for almost half the price when it was on sale, so its so worth it, but I don't think its worth the full price considering its performance but its actually packed with features. I just use it at home surfing the web, uploading pictures from my camera and editing pictures on Lightroom 3. THE GOOD: Ergonomic, Stylist, Great screen quality and resolution, touch screen(It makes the screen dirty), Pack with a lot of features.THE BAD:Processes and response are slower for a dual core but very acceptable for an average home user and DVD drive is noisy. I have it for a month and just yesterday it suddenly froze 10 mins after I turned on the system opening chrome browser, no response from the keyboard or mouse , not even a Alt+Ctrl+Delete will work or the power button. I have to cut the power and turn it on again.I hope it was just a glitz. I still need to tweak it or probably call Dell support to optimize performance. Overall great machine for the price I pay.

Amazed with simplistic set up/ no wires!
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendLike the previous reviewer, I grabbed this for $429 (less $35 when I added my BB reward certificates!). . . Since this was a Deal of the Day item, I rushed to purchase it without doing much research on this product. I've missed out on past Deal of the Day items because I was too slow and they sold out. After I had time to do the research, I actually felt a little nauseated when I read some of the negative reviews. I am a long time HP user and it was a leap for me to move to Dell. I was convinced I had made a mistake. But, when I received my computer today, I was so pleasantly surprised! I didn't realize how big 23" is! I had planned to keep my old monitor and set it up as a dual monitor with this screen. . . but there is no need. I have more than enough space on the screen to multi-task. I love, love, love the fact that I don't have wads and wads of cords and a tower on the floor anymore! Simplify is my motto. Prior to this purchase, I had planned to upgrade to an HP Intel i7, 1.5 T for over $1,000. . . but, after much thought, I decided it makes more sense to buy a mid-grade item with the intent to replace in 3 years with the money saved. Technology moves too fast to invest a lot in a single item (hoping it will carry you several years down the line). It is likely to crash after 5-7 years anyway. Recently, the Best Buy sales guy made a good comment in the store, "Don't buy more than you need." Logical when you're surrounded by overpriced temptations (that I probably wouldn't notice much difference on anyway). I've only played with this computer a couple of hours, but so far it is awesome. It has everything one needs and it is current (Window 7, Office 2010). I am very happy with this purchase. Will update post if anything changes.

Got this for $429
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis unit was on sale in early October so I snagged it on BestBuy.com for $429 to replace a year-old HP laptop (which I sold on eBay). Wanted an all-in-one with a large screen, but they are way overpriced in the $600 to $800 category. $429 seemed like a good cut off the regular $750 price, and once it arrived, I was very pleased. This unit looks and works great for a normal PC and really shows off video content and websites well. Not a bad deal for $429! This thing is not worth $750 but it is at $429. The keyboard and mouse are decent, and it works on my WiFi very well (and is very fast). No more laptops -- just this an a few iPads around the house and all is well.

Has problem going straight to DOS and not Windows
Posted .No, I would not recommend this to a friendThis has been a great computer. Graphics, speed, and workhorse ability. When I bought the first one of this kind, it had to be replaced because of the DOS promt. The second one had the same problem. I called Dell and eventually after almost two hours of downloading new drivers, it stopped going to the DOS prompt and went right to Windows. That worked for about a month and a half. It started going back to the old problem. It takes forever to get into Windows because I have had to turn the computer off the hard way and then try starting it again. There is no way to get out of the DOS prompt unless I turn the computer off. It may take up to 8 times like this to start Windows. So I guess the Geek Squad is going to get this machine to work on. I don't have two hours to spend on the phone with Dell again.

Very good computer for the money
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI bought this computer for my wife to replace her laptop. Easy to set up, no clutter under the desk, and only one cable for power. The touch screen is awesome. Windows 7 preinstalled is easy to configure. Skype was setup within minutes. The wireless lan was easy also. Now for the bad: If you want good audio, then buy external speakers, as the built in ones aren't very good. Dell includes a lot of adware, software offers, free trials, etc, that are just plain junk. Plan on spending an hour to delete all these. Dell Stage which places a very large menu for pics/videos, etc. on the desktop is a particular nusance when Windows already has that capability. Overall, it's a very good computer for the money.
