I have been using this laptop for about 2 months. It really is a disaster for the keyboard design - I am literally blind with "dark red" letters on black background. Even when the whole keyboard is lit up, I can hardly see anything simply because the display is much brighter... Although "Dell G3 15 3500 Setup and Specifications" clearly states it has a "Four-zone RGB backlit keyboard" in "Table 14. Keyboard specifications" on page 18, Dell tech support confirmed it does not have an RGB keyboard and I cannot change the keyboard color. Something is very wrong and Dell definitely needs to correct their specs for this specific model. However, it has a pretty good processor for the speed and also its SSD has plenty space for what I need. So... I decided to keep it BUT with a keyboard cover (simply white letters on black background) from Amazon.

Everything is fine, only the screen at the top and bottom and in the corners lights up, and so is the normal.

The laptop has worked great until last night when I went to close the laptop and the hinge broke. Screws and plastic fell out. I contacted Dell SupportAssist and was told this is considered damage and not covered under warranty. So I now have to pay to have my 10 month old laptop fixed.
