With how much controversy I’ve heard regarding the overheating issues I was hesitant to get this desktop but I decided to pull the trigger anyways. Relatively small desktop. After spending a few weeks with it I’m pretty happy with what this desktop offers. I have never personally had any issues with overheating to this point, the most intensive game I play is warzone and gpu plateaus at a solid 75 degree Celsius (take that as you will). Now if you do choose to improve the airflow (only comes with two fans, one of them being cpu cooler) it’s a fairly simple process but not a modification i found necessary to make at the time of writing this. Extremely easy to set up. With the current set up this desktop should be able to run a good majority of games at 80+ fps. Only modification I would make is the ram of course, after I got 16 gb of ram I get around 90 fps on Warzone (mix of high and low settings) I get around 200 fps on rainbow six siege (highest settings) and 120 fps on Destiny 2 (highest settings). Only legitimate bad thing about this PC is the fact that some key components are proprietary, power supply and motherboard. Good thing is that this model has 500 psu so it should last a bit. Given the current situation with the shortage of graphics cards this is a good starting point for a PC. Frames were achieved on 1080p. ***making it clear that this model comes with 8 GB of ram and the picture i uploaded has the new ram (2 x 8) not included with the PC.

I wanted something fast enough for my job, now that we work from home and it handles very well with the virtual desktop programs. Very quiet, love the light options on the Alienware center, can’t say about the gaming because I don’t intend on using it that way? But I’m sure it can run most games just fine. Just be mindful that it does only bring one HDMI PORT in the back and a DisplayPort...so if you want dual monitors like what I have set up, you will need a splitter. Other than that it’s pretty much plug and play, the instructions aren’t very descriptive just because there isn’t much set up. You just plug it in and it starts up, you put in your Microsoft info and there ya go....ready to use.
