First of all.....I am not a computer Geek or a Gamer. I do not know all the things that this computer can do, nor do I fully use all the things that this computer can do. I have a computer expert that has his own business, and I talked to him about my needs. He recommended that I research Dell computers through Best Buy. I researched what seems like hundreds of computers and reviews. This computer is overkill for what I need for now, but who knows what the future will bring. I looked at a lot of different things, and settled on this computer. It was reasonably priced compared to other computers with less memory. It is really quiet. You hear the fan a little on startup (which is a function they do to make sure the fan works), and you hear it once in awhile during use. (Nothing irritating, I do not like noises.) It exhausts the heat out the back. One very little pain, is the tray that you can put DVD's and CD's on/in. It is a vertical tray instead of a horizontal tray. It takes a little hand/eye coordination to get the disc snapped into place. I liked the horizontal tray idea, that you just lay the disc in. The computer appears to have plenty of places to plug things in. (Again.....I am not a computer Geek.) In summary, I like this computer so far. It reacts as soon as I hit a button. For info.....my old computer was a Dell with the old XP system.
