I've always had 17 inch laptops. Granted, they are as much as 8 pounds, and a bear to carry around, but I did like the big screen. In the interest of convenience in traveling a lot, I decided to explore the possibility of a lightweight laptop, kind of midsize. I checked lots of reviews on the lightweights and thin sizes and found the XPS13 kept coming up favorably compared to others, considering function, price, screen size, and weight. Well, it's better then I'd hoped for. It even has a touch screen (I never realized how handy that could be, I dislike a mousepad, and I was always carrying a mouse around with my larger laptop), and a huge battery life. I no longer have to keep my charger close by while on the move.

This laptop was great in just about every aspect. The size is supierior to comparable 13.3" laptops and the fit and finish looks as though it could be be straight from Apple. I enjoyed the touch pad and screen gestures, and windows 10 is a great step up from even windows 7. My only concern about this laptop is the durability. It doesn't feel as rugged compared to the solid feel of a MacBook Pro. I would recommend this computer to anyone.
