I bought this computer to replace a 7 year old Vista machine. Computer is very fast and I picked up on Windows 10 easily. My primary use is photo editing in Photoshop.

I'm hobbyist photographer and this computer meets my needs for photo editing using Adobe/Lightroom CC. It's also great for streaming music/video & I'm 110% confident that it can handle my near future computing needs/ requirements. A big upgrade from my old PC. The fast & powerful processor, Intel i7-Skylake/Quad Core, the generous 2TB hdd/7200rpm, plenty of USB ports & Display Port /HDMI ports (multiple monitors setup) are the features that caught my attention and I'll just put the rests as an icing on the cake. I may upgrade the memory (16 to 32 gb) and add a SSD later though. Prior to getting this one, I got an Alienware laptop but encountered problems with its SSD drive, so I returned it. Got a Cyberpower PC and had problems with the graphics card, so I returned it. This is the third try and I guess, it's a charm but not flawless. The problems I encountered so far are: 1.) Windows 10. During update, the computer froze. I have to reboot it and performed a system restore. No problems so far. 2.)Noise at startup or when PC is powered up. It settles right away, 2-3 seconds after. Not bad really but others might find it annoying. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

Needed a new system as mine was slow and old. My new XPS lives up to the Dell name and reputation.
