I used this machine for a few weeks before it started to leak from the handle and also from the milk steamer. It is loud, it is messy and it is honestly just not worth the mess and effort for a nice cup of coffee in the morning. I wanted something easier/more user friendly especially since I use it every morning for myself and my wife. Several aspects that I do not like about this machine will probably be the case for most machines like this, and that would be the mess of the frother and packing the espresso. Those two points aside, other issues I had with it was how loud it was, and how badly it vibrated while brewing. I had to hold the cup steady so it didn't vibrate off its little platform, so I couldn't just get it going and come back to it. Its honestly just a headache to make a cup of coffee in the morning that I drank less coffee because of it. Its not difficult to use but its just not a clean, speedy process like I wish it was. I returned this machine and ended up going with a Nespresso Latissima Touch machine, and that was the best decision I could have made. The only "negative" with the nespresso machine is that you have to use their coffee pods instead of your own ground coffee but it is worth it. Their coffee tastes great and the pods are recyclable.

We got this to replace our Espressione Cafe Retro after 6 years of spotty service. I loved the way the old one looked but it was a bit temperamental. Still, when it worked properly, it made good espresso. The DeLonghi doesn't look as good or feel as solid as our old machine – also you can't put as many grounds in it so it's a bit weaker – but it's working as it's supposed to so far. Decent value for the money if you like this style of machine.

Unlike many similar pump devices, this one produces the right temperature and crema and looks pretty at a low price. I would just recommend not to use it with tap water in South Florida to enjoy it longer.

The unit makes pretty loud noise when it starts to pump. I read that from other reviewers but didn't expect it was that loud. The steam wand starts to leak after the few use. I am not sure if I should keep it.

Good machine. Ground tamper is a little clunky but otherwise it is easy to use. Best to use with short cups as the machine nozzle is close to the tray.

This is my second try with this product. The first one leaked water and I had to exchange it after 8 months. The second one is holding up so far.
