We got this to replace our Espressione Cafe Retro after 6 years of spotty service. I loved the way the old one looked but it was a bit temperamental. Still, when it worked properly, it made good espresso. The DeLonghi doesn't look as good or feel as solid as our old machine – also you can't put as many grounds in it so it's a bit weaker – but it's working as it's supposed to so far. Decent value for the money if you like this style of machine.

Love the color. Matches my red kitchenaid. A huge style step up from our former delonghi EC155. Makes an excellent coffee and is easy to use. Happy customer.

The unit makes pretty loud noise when it starts to pump. I read that from other reviewers but didn't expect it was that loud. The steam wand starts to leak after the few use. I am not sure if I should keep it.
