Good sound card when audio not available on MB
|Posted .I installed Windows 7 on an older system and the motherboard audio did not have any drivers available for Windows after XP. This card solved the problem by being compatible with Windows 7.

Works with Windows 10
|Posted .Had a computer that I updated to Windows 10 and the audio suddenly didn't work. (Or it might have failed while it was mothballed...) Since I was reconditioning the older PC for my son, I wanted audio available for him. This card installed as expected, however, installing drivers was a necessity. Once they were installed, though, it worked quite well and we are generally happy with its performance.

Works great!
|Posted .The plug-ins were broken on my on-board sound card, and I needed something that would work - but not be terribly expensive. This card meets all my needs, and actually sounds pretty good through headphones. I'm running Windows 10, and had to change a couple of drivers and update the Device Manager (disable the onboard sound controls). Everything works great, especially for the price!

Easy to install, software can be weird.
|Posted .Installation for this is pretty straightforward; open PC, find your PCI port, plug it in and go. It does come with an installation disc, though the software aspect of this product can be stubborn at first. Had to restart my computer twice before 5.1 finally took correctly, but haven't had a problem since.

Simple & Effective
|Posted .Simple but effective sound card - if your having issues with your PC's on-board sound card this is a good choice to replace it. If looking for "Studio" type features from a sound card, as if in wanting an "up-grade" however this is not the one to choose. But overall, good choice for a "quick fix".

Easy to install
|Posted .I didn't know what was causing my computer not to have sound. I was about to go to Geek Squad in the Best Buy store to help. A helpful sales associate advised me to try adding a sound card for only 20 bucks ....this worked and so easy to install. I am not tech repair savvy.

Great Sound Card for the Money
|Posted .Integrated sound on mother board went out. Computer is seven years old, but otherwise works great. Saw this card on Bestbuy website which was cheap and had good reviews. Bought it and it installed easily. Loaded drivers and sound is very good. Great sound card for the money.

Works well, more or less
|Posted .Sound card installed with a little modification to the bracket, which had to be done carefully as it's held onto the card by only two screws and looked like twisting might break the card. However, drivers worked fine and I have sound again, which is all I wanted.

Q: QuestionMac compatible?I'm running OS X 10.7.5 on a Mac Pro computer. Bought an M-Audio card on Ebay but it didn't fit in the PCI slots in my Mac. Your card doesn't have the same pin slot configuration - the front portion of the card I got is what wouldn't fit so perhaps this one will fit. I am running an Intel Mac so hopefully that will help. If your response is positive, I'll be running out to your store tomorrow morning to pick one up. Thanks for your time, Mike Wonders
