Lens Filters

Whether you are learning basic photography or honing more advanced skills, using a digital camera filter can dramatically improve your photos. UV filters, which cut down ultraviolet rays, can reduce the appearance of haze created by pollution or moisture in the air. High-end glass filters will be more expensive, but they are built to last a long time and bring top-notch quality to your work. While most photographers use conventional glass screw-on filters, some also use square or rectangular options made of other materials with unique qualities. For the conventional screw-on filters, you will need to choose a model that is compatible with your lens brand and size.

Other camera accessories that will improve your photography include camera flashes and light reflectors and modifiers, both of which give you more control over your lighting. If you work indoors, you may also need to invest in a studio backdrop.
