Originally, I was going to purchase a B&D vacuum that was on sale. However, a Best Buy representative informed me of people having problems with the cheaper B&D vacuum and recommended this Dirt Devil vacuum. I was glad he informed of an issue because I have had bad luck with vacuums in the past. This vacuum has been awesome; it's powerful, sturdy, and reliable. I used it as soon as I got home and I did notice the power it had because it picked up a lot more than I could see around on the carpet! Definitely recommend!
