It projects Stars from one end which looks really cool. It rotates very slowly and we can't control its rotation speed which is a basic function in lot of other star projectors. The other end projects various Space related things with the help of 4 discs provided. The projection is so small that even in a small room it is hard to identify what it is trying to project. If it is hard for us to identify, we can imagine how hard it would be for the kids. Overall, I am not satisfied with the product.

My two sons absolutely loved this so I bought another one. Usually my sons (both older and with special needs) are not interested in the same things, but this projector had them sneaking into each other's rooms to find it. Definitely a big hit at our house. It is durable and easy to use. The discs are easy to insert and the projected images can be focused. The domed side fills the room with a starscape that slowly rotates, while the flat side projects whichever image is on the disc. Each disc has eight images and there are four discs. This toy kept my sons entertained for hours.

The stars appears as dots when projected on the wall because of their too small size. I was expecting bit larger sizes so that kid can easily recognize them. One end of the device display stars and other end displays images from the provided discs. There are 4 projection discs in the package which when inserted projects images of planets. At a time, either you can project stars or planets from the disc. It would have been better if both planets and stars can be projected together. Returned this product.
