XBOX ONE FANTASIA IS LEGEND!
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis is hands up and down... by far... the reigning champion of xbox games to date. It takes a few plays and urging of your more extroverted friends and colleagues... or little person friends to fukky appreciate the different and immersive music experience that this game fuses with you. its like a musical dream cone true. theres no better game outside of dance revokution ive seen to harness the cull potential of the kinnect like this does. its also less embarrassing and privacy interference seeming as the character-role you play as ... is made of sparkles and nota recording backwards facing camera except fir some randomly chosen vids at the end. the song choices are off the chainand so are the music remixes and fantast instrument play in the breakdowns and full song changes of your choice with solos included. pop somgs to rock sonfs... they even have hendrix. what more could you ask for? you even het a good work out, if you choose, i love it ats my fav game ever. great for first time interactive menu users!! (as teaching tool)

Fun, but not without flaws
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThe concept of Fantasia: Music Evolved is fantastic. This game is loosely based on the original Fantasia short where Mickey Mouse is "conducting" the stars and the heavens as the Sorcerer's Apprentice. Your goal throughout the game is to match patterns on-screen with your arm and hand movements. It's more like Dance Dance Revolution or Guitar Hero than "real dancing games" like Just Dance or Dance Central in that it's really more about pattern matching than dancing. The story mode seems a bit sloppy and lazy at times, but the core game play, graphics, music selection, and motion controls are a decent, if not revolutionary demonstration of what the Xbox One with Kinect 2.0 is capable of.

Better than expected
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI didn't have a whole lot of interest in this game when I first heard about it, but a reduced price got me curious. The tutorial that they want you to do early in the game is pretty slow/tedious but it really helps you enjoy the gameplay after that. The motions they ask you to do feel somewhat unique for gesture based games and they do seem to mimic Mickey Mouse in Fantasia pretty well. The music in the game is a nice mix of classical music and modern day hits which can all be altered slightly with elements in the game. I won't be playing this forever, but for the low price point that I get it for it was well worth a few nights of entertainment.

Excellent fun for the whole family
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendSo far, we have only been playing the story mode to unlock all of the songs, but between my wife, 6 year old daughter and I, we have been having a blast while giving both of our kids an appreciation of different music genres. The Kinect integration is excellent, and registers the movements well.

Unique Music Experience with a lot of Arm Waving
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis game uses the Kinect magically for the Xbox One. If you like innovative music games, you need to check this winner from Harmonix. You need to "hit the notes" rhythmically and accurately by waving your arms like an orchestral conductor and pushing forward into the TV like a Jedi using the force. As a seasoned music game guy, this game is challenging. Lastly, make sure you have plenty of room between the TV and Kinect viewing area. None of the other reviews say you need this space but trust me, you need it. Or else you won't be able to play this game as your Kinect won't be able to recognize your arm motions (hint - this game doesn't use the controller; your arms and hands are the controller).

Nice but maybe not for 3 year old
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI have a PS3, an Xbox 360 and an Xbox One. I bought this for the latter of those 3 consoles, with the intent of keeping my 3 year old entertained. It is very interesting, Too difficult for him, but he had a blast watching me follow movements on the screen which ended up with me looking like Mickey Mouse in Fantasia. The kinect of this new Xbox is better than the old one, and since Sony does not do much with their analogous Move camera, this is the only way to play games like this. Although I admit to having little experience with the Wii U.

Innovative, good workout, tedius structure
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis game surprised me in how much of a workout it feels like. I can't play more than 2 or three songs without having to take a break. I enjoy the gameplay, but hate the structure of working my way through the game. It takes a while load between game sections and I'm really board of the storyline. The toughest part of the timing of the game is trying to figure out if you need to follow the melody, vocals or rhythm which can change based on the remix elements that you can change midgame. I haven't tried the multiplayer yet,but I hopee that adds to the replay value.

An injection of fun into the music game genre
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendIf you loved Guitar Hero, you will enjoy this game. While the lack of a difficulty adjustment to make easier songs harder as you improve your skills is noticeable, the game still has plenty of songs that are fun and challenging. The pop songs are especially fun to mix and match music styles. If you have a passion for music, you will enjoy this game.
