Customers are delighted by the smooth gameplay, Star Wars content, and the variety of characters in Disney Infinity: 3.0. Many appreciate the game's ease of use and impressive graphics, while some find the Toy Box feature particularly engaging. However, the cost of additional figures is a recurring concern for some buyers, as is the incompatibility with figures from previous versions. A few customers also mentioned concerns about platform compatibility changes.

My wife and I purchased this for our son who's in love with Star Wars as an upgrade to the 2.0 version he already has. We've sank plenty of hours into 2.0, and I must say the changes to 3.0 are fantastic. Platinum Games does a wonderful job at making the gameplay as smooth as can be and the figurines look great on display. There are plenty of unlockables and the toy box is fun to tinker with. The addition of the extra Toy Box games adds some additional longevity to the game and we're looking forward to picking those up soon.

So, I have had only a little time to play the game so far due to work and kids, but so far I am really liking this iteration of the game. I liked the last two as well, but I also agreed with all of the criticisms of the previous two editions. I set the game to extreme difficulty because the previous two versions were just too easy for an adult. Not this one. It's pretty challenging on the extreme level, so that will make it enjoyable for me as an adult. I have played with the toybox takeover for the first section and have enjoyed it! I hope they release more things like this in the future. The central game hub I have just begun to explore but it is much more intuitive (and fun) than the 2.0 version (which always crashed whenever I opened too much of it at a time on the wii U). Ahsoka (sp?) is awesome in terms of playability. Annakin's ok. So, again, only just really starting to get into it, but definitely enjoying it so far!
