Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition) Starter Pack - Xbox One

If you have never tried Disney Infinity before, then my review may not be as helpful to you, but here is what I have experienced from and why making the move to 2.0 is worth it. 1. The Marvel characters are a natural fit for this sort of game which is 90% attacking the bad guys. This is done by either hand-to-hand combat or using special weapons. Of all the Marvel characters I have tried, (10 of them) I prefer Captain America and Rocket Raccoon for their weapon use and positive attitude. 2. The story lines in the Marvel playsets seem much better than the first version playsets (Cars, Monsters Inc, Pirates, Lone Ranger). I haven't gotten too far in the Guardians of the Galaxy yet, but I'm doing pretty good on the Avengers and it really seems like we are getting through a story as opposed to just doing small tasks over and over. 3. The characters when defeated are unable to play for a certain length of time. In the prior version, when you "died" you immediately regenerate again to continue with your task. This didn't seem like a big deal at the time, but in 2.0, when you are defeated you need to replace that character with a different (supported) character to continue. It makes it a much more important to use your defense. 4. Characters you had in 1.0 are useable in the toybox in 2.0. It even allows you to share ownership between 1.0 and 2.0 so you don't lose your power-up levels. 5. The toybox has some great new features which I shortly used, but I am currently spending my time in the playsets. *** The only thing I am somewhat disappointed in is inability to use the 1.0 playsets on the 2.0 system. I no longer have an XBox 360 since I have an Xbox One, and my prior version Disney Infinity playsets will therefore just gather dust.

My kids and I had such fun with the version 1 of the product we were very excited to hear that version 2 was coming and it included the Marvel universe. When the package arrived, the kids were very excited and couldn't wait to put the disc in and play as their favorite characters. It has been nothing but fun and enjoyable to complete the missions and explore the worlds as a team.

This is a pretty fun game. The toy box however is where you'll get most of the enjoyment from. The playsets are nice to give you a preset story, but most missions fall into two categories: move some item to a new location, while beating up everything in the way, or purely beating up the things at given locations. This can get repetitive after a while, so only get this if you are interested in instead devoting time to the custom worlds that you can create in the toy box. The toy box has a remarkable amount of power in its creation tools, but if you are daunted by its complexity, you can always just download user creations instead. This game can easily give you 100+ hours of game time, and the cast of beloved marvel and Disney characters are amazing for that entire time.

Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition) is a great, family friendly game all around. But it can get expensive with all the figures and packs you need to buy to unlock the full game experience.

This game is pretty fun. Not very complex or anything as it is a kids game (im in my 30s) but fun none the less. I just received this today so haven't played much of it. I am a comic book nerd so to me this thing is great. I can definitely see the appeal if you were a kid as well but this game is pretty fun even for an adult. I have no tried the toy box feature out yet it is where you can build your own cities at least from what I get from it. The story mode I played a little of its pretty fun im guessing not the longest but worth a try. I got this on sale for 20 some dollars and it was well worth it.

My son (4 years old) and husband like playing this together. It's a neat product, but having to buy all of the different figures gets expensive.

Simple game but tons of fun. Iron Man and Thor are great to control. Only wish the Hulk came with this bundle instead of the Black Widow.

My son loves it with the characters n play n run around it's a bit tough for youngsters but they like making the characters do stuff!
